The Alien RPG Core Rule Book is perfect for running cinematic scenarios and one shots, especially if the player characters are scientists, colonists, explorators and/or truckers. All the rules are written to help tell a story of a group of individuals unprepared for what's coming : hell.

However, there is a difference between Alien and Aliens and in order to keep a campaign going and allow characters to evolve over time, some rules can be slightly tweaked. Still, your players should still stress over or fear for their character's life expectancy.

What if you could play Alien RPG solo ? I eventually plan on releasing my own Solo ruleset.
